The 2024 AR Power Rankings are based on results of North American teams (made up primarily of North American athletes). The Rankings are posted about every two weeks.
For a team to be considered in the rankings, it must have raced at least twice in 2024. All teams and all types of adventure races are considered for the rankings, but it is a subjective ranking system that tabulates the votes of the ASM Rankings Panel, made up of individuals throughout the U.S. and Canada who closely follow adventure racing. (It is similar to the Associated Press football and basketball polls, which collect votes from a nationwide panel of sportswriters.)
