1. Montrail (Idaho/Australia): Rebecca Rusch, John Jacoby, Tim Derrick, Martin Dreyer, Patrick Harper, Novak Thompson, Narelle Ash
- Montrail started the season by winning the Extreme Adventure Hidalgo in Mexico, placing 5th in the X-adventure Raid World Cup race in Western Australia and 5th at Explore Sweden.
2. SOLE Custom Footbeds (California): Karen Lundgren, Paul Romero, Darren Clarke, Ted Devito, Rick Baraff, Travis Macy
-This team picked up where it left off last year with a strong 3rd-place showing at the Extreme Adventure Hidalgo in Mexico and followed that up with a 6th at Explore Sweden.
3. Nike/Balance Bar (Colorado/Idaho): Mike Kloser, Michael Tobin, Ian Adamson, Dan Weiland, Monique Merrill Adamson, Tobin, Katrin Tobin and Nikki Kimball
- Won the AdventureXStream 12-hour race in Moab, Utah, in early April. Finished second in the Extreme Adventure Hidalgo in Mexico.
4. GoLite/Timberland (Colorado): Isaac Wilson, Billly Mattison, Aaron Prince, Sara Wallen, Anna Keeling
- Placed 13th in the X-adventure World Cup race in Australia, the top finisher among teams competing in the North American qualifying zone. (Team Montrail is considered an Aussie team by the Raid.)
5. EAS (Canada): Mark Tarnopolsky, Martin Rydlo, Mike Waddington, Simon Donato, Robyn Allen
- 1st, Salomon Adventure Challenge, Canada; 1st, Salomon Winter Adventure Challenge, Canada; 1st, Tubbs Snowshoe Winter Adventure Race, Massachusetts; 1st, Adventure Racing Canada winter race.
6. Backpacker Outfitters (Louisiana): David Bogle, Misty Richard, Jeff Diamond, Darius Sampey
- Five wins so far this season: two SteelSports 12-hour races, Louisiana Adventure Racing Spillway Sprint Challenge, SteelSports Caprock Canyon 3-Day Race, New Orleans Urban Challenge.
7. HTHC Endeavor (Connecticut): RJoe Brautigam, Erin Olafsen, Dianna Mann, Bill Ronalter
- 1st, Genesis Adventures Sprint #1; 1st, Genesis Adventures Jeep 12-Hour #1
8. Adventure Sports Southeast (Georgia): Bryan Goble, Lisa Randall, Jason Holmes
- 3rd at the Smoky Mountains Adventure Race; Won the Save the World Adventure Race in late April, the Upper Savannah River AR in March and the Raging Russell AR in February.
9. Eastern Mountain Sports (Massachusetts): Jennifer Shultis, John Hartley, William Hawkins, Matthew Dougherty, Dave Lamb
- 2nd, Genesis Adventures Sprint #1; 2nd, Genesis Adventures Jeep 12-Hour #1; 2nd, Costa Rica Coast-to-Coast Race
10. Subaru (California): Dan Barger, Roy Malone, Elina Maki Rautila, Dan Rathbun
- Started its season by placing 2nd at the Smoky Mountains Adventure Race in North Carolina.
