Event Name: Beast of the East

Following a lengthy stay out west, the ASM Tour headed East for the "Beast of the East," a signature multi-day AR event, which was staged out of the historic town of Rugby, TN.

With two days to make it over 1,800 miles, the Tour squeaked in just in the nick of time to greet the athletes as they arrived Monday afternoon for a lengthy gear check and pre-race brief in preparation for the newly popular 4am race start.

ASM was able to get to know each of the teams that traveled from all walks and as far as Guatemala and London. We were pleased to have Team "Adventure Sports Magazine" on site, a local team recently coming off a strong finish at SPQ.

The next evening, the ASM RV Tour was off to chase down the field and greet them at a beautiful checkpoint located in one of the old mine towns. We spent the evening hiking the river and cheering teams on. The rest of the evening was spent walking the campground, chatting with support crews and offering up some good reading material (ASM) to get them through the night while they waited for their respective teams.

The next morning, the ASM RV Tour set it sights homeward bound as the RV Tour rolls to a finish for 2024!
