Event Name: Grin and Bear It Trail Run

Comments:

The Mobile Tour arrived at 6:30 am to set up tent and greet athletes arriving for the Grin and Bear It, a 9.3 mile mountain/trail run. Runners were very excited to see us on site and had a lot of questions about adventure racing and the ASM Tour.

The runners left town at 9 am to start the trek up a 1600ft elevation gain reaching Green Lake (located 10,600ft above sea level) only to turn around and wind back down the mountain into town. It took the majority of the runners 1 to 2hrs to complete, most of which was on the climb up!

Following the run, everyone gathered for an awards ceremony in the courtyard near the race finish. ASM was given center stage for their sponsor gear giveaway. There was plenty of great exposure for sponsors and many happy runners as most of the athletes went home with something free!
