Event Name: Crested Butte Banks Trails Triathlon

Comments:

It was a very busy day for the ASM Tour. The Crested Butte Trail Tri packet pick-up followed shortly after the morning trail run event. We parked the RV and set up the sponsor tent in the Crested Butte Bank parking lot in the center of town. ASM spent the afternoon meeting athletes and talking to them about adventure racing and the ASM Mobile Tour.

There was a special event called "The Double" which basically recognized athletes that competed in the Grin and Bear It Trail Run on Saturday and the Crested Butte Trail Triathlon on Sunday, quite a feat. Since ASM attend both events, we were able to provide the prizes for the special event following the triathlon event on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, ASM was at Grant Lake to greet the athletes and cruise the course taking awesome race pictures for the Web site. It was a beautiful day for the event and there were a lot of folks cheering on the triathletes. Following a great run finish around Grant Lake, there was an awards ceremony and schwag-off during which ASM sponsors received some good recognition for prizes donated to the event!

This again was a great event for the ASM Mobile Tour as it provided lots of new exposure to the magazine and the Mobile Tour sponsors!
