The event kicked off on Saturday with the expo and packet-pickup. There were plenty of athletes new to the sport present, offering fresh exposure to the magazine and our sponsors.

On race morning, energy was buzzing with great music and tons of athletes scurrying around gathering up last minute details. Fully decked in ASM/GoLite/Maxxis/Kinesys/HiGear product, Ty linked up with a team looking for a third.

Team Revo were first to cross the line, with Teams ACG/Nike and Balance Bar right on their tales.

JP, the event MC, did an awesome job promoting each booth while announcing the event. Plenty of props were given to ASM for the free schwag and top notch publication within the sport. Between his efforts and ours, we reeled in 20 new subscribers, all in good day's work!
