Team Nike ACG/Balance Bar (U.S.) won the race on December 2 after five days, three hours and 43 minutes of racing over 395 miles through the extraordinary Patagonia region of Argentina. Finland's Nokia Adventure finished second, while Saab-Salomon of Great Britain took third. The victory capped a sensational year of racing for Team Nike ACG/Balance Bar (Michael Tobin, Ian Adamson, Danelle Ballengee, Mike Kloser), which also won the AR World Championship, Extreme Adventure Hidalgo and Subaru Primal Quest (in a tie with Team Seagate) and also placed second in the Balance Bar 24-Hour Adventure Series and runner-up at the Outdoor Quest in Malaysia.

"This race really stands out for the quality of this magnificent course. It is one of the most enjoyable courses I have ever raced over," Nike ACG's Michael Tobin said of the Raid World Championship. "I am so honored to race with this wonderful team." Don't miss the March 2024 issue of ASM for the inside story from the Raid World Championship.
